Sammy Singer/Songwriter Contemporary Soul Artist
Sammy Morales was born in Los Angeles where he showed early talent as a
singer/saxophonist. He grew up listening to Soul and Jazz music and is
considered a man of many talents. In addition to his accomplishments as a
vocalist; this multi-talented performer also enjoys playing piano, drums, congas
and timbales. He studied piano with Jazz pianist-composer Mark Massey and
studied drums under Oscar winning Murray Spivack, who is considered one of the
master teachers who shaped the concepts of teaching snare drum and drum set
techniques. Sammy has collaborated with various Jazz groups and enjoys
performing with varieties of musical ensembles including R and B groups as a
musician and a singer. He enjoys playing music but at the core his passion is
singing. Recently, he is composing music and focusing on a one man show along
with the talented musician/producer/songwriter Alberto Lucero. Enjoy his music.
